Forming Hearts, Creating Art Worship Conference

On February 14, 2009 the Fred Bock Institute of Music will host the annual Forming Hearts, Creating Art one-day seminar for worship leaders.  As in previous years, we have some wonderful guests to guide our thoughts and provide inspirational concepts for creative worship ministry. This year will have Gloria Gaither and Dr. C. Michael Hawn as our main contributers as well as a mini-concert by guiest artist Ma Xiaohui, a world-reknowned erhu player from China.

FredBock.jpg(1939 - 1998) was the consummate musician. This became evident as early as age five when he came home from school and played the songs he had learned that day in kindergarten. By age eleven, he was accompanying the hymns at his local church. Read more...
